Winter is an important season for seasonal maintenance of agricultural machinery and vehicles. When filling the cooling system with antifreeze, the following points should be noted:
1. Before filling, the cooling system should be thoroughly cleaned, and impurities deposited in the system should be washed clean as much as possible.
2. The proportion of antifreeze to be filled and the temperature range for use should comply with regulations. There are two types of products on the market, one is concentrated, which should be blended according to the ambient temperature and the specified proportion. The other is prepared finished products, which should be selected according to the working environment of the vehicle.
3. The freezing point of the antifreeze used should be 5 ℃ below the ambient temperature.
4. When adding water soluble antifreeze, it is necessary to timely supplement cooling water, as there may be evaporation during use.
5. The antifreeze has certain toxicity, so it should not be sucked by mouth when filling. If it splashes onto the human body, it should be immediately rinsed with clean water. Splatted paint should also be washed off with water to prevent corrosion.
