1. Perform a 5-minute warm-up run after the initial engine start. Keep the engine running at low speed with load until it is warm. Do not run at high speed with full load or at low speed without load.
2. Avoid overload operation. The engine cannot run at full load during the running-in period, so it can be running-in at a rotational speed of 3000 rpm and a load of about 50%.
3. Change the oil on time. After the engine has been running for 20 hours, heat up the engine and replace the oil, otherwise the residual oil in the engine body cannot be drained completely. After changing the oil for 20 hours, change the oil every 100 hours thereafter.
4. If the fuel is mixed with water and dirt, it can lead to abnormal operation of the diesel engine or inability to operate as a vehicle. If there is water and dirt in the fuel, it should be stored in a clean container for sedimentation for more than 2 hours, and then the fuel above should be pumped out using a rubber hose or pump. The oil at the bottom of the container cannot be used.
5. Method of selecting oil. Choosing the right oil is very important. If the oil grade used is not suitable, it will cause the piston ring to adhere and burn out the piston ring; Rapid wear of cylinder liners; The rapid wear of bearings and other moving parts shortens the service life of diesel engines.
6. Keep the air filter cleaner clean. If the engine power is insufficient and the smoke color deteriorates, replace the air filter element or clean the core. The first cleaning of the filter element is to use it for 100 hours, and the second cleaning is to use it for 500 hours. After using it for 1000 hours, replace the filter element.
7. Common troubleshooting
(1) Unable to operate the vehicle - check whether there is oil in the fuel tank and whether the fuel is clean; Check whether the fuel tank switch is turned on; Check whether the fuel injection nozzle injects oil.
(2) It is difficult to start - whether the pressure relief handle is open; Whether the oil is filled according to the label; Whether the crankshaft bearing is severely worn; Whether the cylinder liner is "strained".
(3) Insufficient engine power - incorrect fuel injection timing; Incorrect valve clearance; The compression ratio does not meet the standard; Insufficient air intake.
